Well, here it is again another week and I haven’t heard from the surgeon on a surgery date. I called the office and talked to April again. She remembered me from last week and said she would send another message to the lady that does the scheduling, so here I sit waiting again.
I didn’t go to exercise today, I’m really tuckered out today. I surely hope that they call soon, I’m getting really tired of waiting and my friends are leaving soon and won’t be able to take me and pick me up if it gets to late.
Went to Dr Lowery (sleep doctor) and he said everything looked fine with my CPAP and that as I lose weight it is easy to adjust the settings on the CPAP without having to do another sleep study. That is good! 🙂
Hi, I'm Laura and I'm 62 years old. I have 5 grown children and 13 grandchildren. I did not think about starting a blog about my weight-loss journey until now (8 mo. later) so I will be going back in my journals and blog from them.
My journey is a little different than most peoples because I am disabled and live in an assisted living center and I, therefore, don't cook my own meals. I don't get hungry nor do I get full. I eat at a scheduled time and eat a certain portion size (unless I get to full). I do have control of what I eat and how much I eat. I make a menu for the week and the cooks follow it.
Because I'm disabled I use a walker to help balance myself. I walk about 3 miles a day in 12-minute sessions 6 times a day and do 20 minutes of "seated chair" exercises 3 times a day.
To learn more about me and how I'm doing read my blog as I post new entries. I will be starting my blog from back on March 19th, 2018 and going forward from there until I get to the current date.
